This is Why You Should Let Me In Your House.

“Oh, my gosh! I can’t imagine letting you in my house!”

As a space consultant, you know how many times I’ve heard that over the years?

Too many.

I have a secret for you.

If you and I walk through your house together, only one person is going to be judging you.

And it isn’t going to be me.

Look, I’ve worked in some pretty diverse places; from VERY full homes to pristine spaces to an ashram. (Seriously…an ashram.  In India.)

And, only one thing goes through my mind, when I see the space. How can I help you clear your obstacles in your life and find comfort in your home?

Homes are a funny thing. They are VERY personal.

When I did space work exclusively, before I started working as a holistic wellness provider, I was discussing privacy with a healer friend. She did hands on energy work.

I was telling her about how nervous and private people were about letting me into their homes. She said, “Just imagine how much more private they are when you are working with their bodies and spirits.” I assumed she was right. After all, our bodies and spirits are pretty personal stuff.

Well, fast forward a few years.

I began working with bodies and spirits and guess what?

As it turns out, nope, people are indeed more private about their homes.  Wild, huh?

I understand this, of course.

In fact, it’s exactly what I teach; that your home is a mirror of who you are.

But, as a human, you have to go out in the world and interact with people. (Well, most of us do) You are exposed to people and people are exposed to you. So, you can at least try to put on your best self.

Your home, on the other hand, can hide.

It can hide the things that you are ashamed of. It can hide the things that you don’t want someone else to see. It can hide the things that you don’t want to deal with. Until, pretty soon, you want to hide from your house.

And that’s where I come in.

See, I get it.

I get that your house is truly your sanctuary, no matter what is hiding in the closets or under the bed.

And sometimes that sanctuary gets a bit out of balance from holding on to all that inner stuff, that has a way of manifesting in the outer stuff.

I get it because I work on both levels: the inner stuff and the outer stuff.

When I first began this work, I called myself a space healer. And that is really what I do. I heal your space. But, more importantly I help you heal through your space. And that’s where the real magic happens.

As the years pass, more and more people trust me to come into their homes, whether through the front door, or skype or photos, and you know what happens?

They see results…and fast.

Their space and life improves. They talk about how gentle and non-judgmental the process is.  They are surprised.

I’m not.
